Non Destructive Testing (NDT) is a broad field, which includes a set of typical analysis techniques. Success of nondestructive testing adequately depends on the choice of method the NDT personnel employs to test a particular material. That’s because different techniques are used to test different types of materials. NDT inspectors are required to possess substantial knowledge about different NDT testing methods. They must also have qualification and certification as per the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) standards.
